Global Music Awards 2005

In music's biggest night, Kelly Clarkson became the top winner, winning four awards, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Mariah Carey, who earned the most nominations with nine, won three awards. Shakira and Alejandro Sanz's "La Tortura" won two awards, becoming the first non-English song to win in the awards ceremony. Music legend Paul McCartney scored nominations in Best Male Pop Performance and Best Pop Album categories.
